Smiling Baby recently opened its second store at Besant Nagar, on 6^th Avenue, opp to the Beach and adjacent to Murugan Idly Shop. The store had launched Home Delivery services recently. The Delivery services would initially include localities at Adyar, Besant Nagar, Indra Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, IIT Madras Campus, Kotturpuram and MRC Nagar. Customers who order between 10.30am – 3.30 pm will receive the products the same day between 4.30pm – 8.30pm. Orders placed after 3.30pm will be delivered the next day between 10.30am – 2.30pm. Customers can order their requirements over the phone and payment can be made during delivery. As an inaugural offer, the store is offering a FLAT 10% Discount on Diapers and Baby Wipes, Baby Cosmetics such as Powders, Lotions & Creams. Minimum order value for Home Delivery is Rs. 500.

The store is home to an array of Indian and International brands -  names like Medela, Pigeon, Nuby, Chicco, Avent, JL Morrisons, Apple Baby, Fisher Price, Barbie, Disney, Hotwheels, Funskool, Himalaya, Johnson & Johnson, Pampers, Mamy Poko being a few of them. There are over 2,000 products to choose from among 50 plus brands. The store recently launched a new range of Wooden and Metal Cradles for new born babies, Prams and Strollers and Baby Chairs. The Store would soon launch their Summer-2015 collection of garments for babies and kids.

The store is one of its kind in the country - spread over 950 Sq Feet and has a well laid out shop area which also has an exclusive car parking, Toilet and other amenities.

Speaking on the launch of the new store, S Shriram, Founder of Smiling Baby added: “We are eight months young in the business and have received tremendous love and appreciation from our customers at our first store located at Adyar. “Smiling Baby”, Baby Care Products celebrates Christmas with Santa Claus”

Smiling Baby, a baby care store located at Adyar in Chennai celebrated Christmas with a Santa Claus event for kids. The event was held within the store premises in their exclusive Activity Area. There were over 30 kids and their parents in the age between 1 to 6 years who participated and graced the event. There was a Story Telling Session and various games which were conducted by Ms. Bhanumati, ace story teller with over 20+ years’ experience. The event culminated with the arrival of Santa Claus much to the joy of the children. Santa played with the kids and posed for photos with each one of them and gifted candies, chocolates and toys to each one.  

Speaking on the event and its value add to the community, S Shriram, Founder of Smiling Baby added: “We believe Christmas is not just a religious festival but a social event in today’s context. Small kids look forward to the arrival of Santa Claus eagerly every December and the loads of gifts that he brings to them.
