Smiling Baby, a baby care store located at Adyar in Chennai celebrated Christmas with a Santa Claus event for kids. The event was held within the store premises in their exclusive Activity Area. There were over 30 kids and their parents in the age between 1 to 6 years who participated and graced the event. There was a Story Telling Session and various games which were conducted by Ms. Bhanumati, ace story teller with over 20+ years’ experience. The event culminated with the arrival of Santa Claus much to the joy of the children. Santa played with the kids and posed for photos with each one of them and gifted candies, chocolates and toys to each one.  

Speaking on the event and its value add to the community, S Shriram, Founder of Smiling Baby added: “We believe Christmas is not just a religious festival but a social event in today’s context. Small kids look forward to the arrival of Santa Claus eagerly every December and the loads of gifts that he brings to them. We played a very small role in the lives of those children by playing Santa to them. The kids loved Santa and enjoyed being with him that evening. Smiling Baby would be the “go to” place for such events in times to come”.

 Smiling Baby had celebrated Children’s Day on Nov. 15^th 2014 with a Fashion Show which had over 100 registrations and was much appreciated by parents and customers.

The store is one of its kind in the country - spread over 1600 Sq Feet, and has a well laid out play area and an activity centre - where the young ones can spend time exploring the world of toys and also engage in creative activities such as colouring, drawing, painting, etc. The creation of kids at the store will be displayed in the walls of Smiling Baby, which also has an exclusive Nursing Room for mothers and ample car parking, Lift Facility and other amenities.
