 Smiling Baby launches Home Delivery

Smiling Baby, a baby shop located at Adyar (Opp Fortis Malar hospital) launched Home Delivery services recently. The Delivery services would initially include localities at Adyar, Besant Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, IIT Madras Campus, Kotturpuram, Mylapore, RA Puram and MRC Nagar. Customers who order between 10.30am – 3.30 pm will receive the products the same day between 4.30pm – 8.30pm. Orders placed after 3.30pm will be delivered the next day between 10.30am – 2.30pm. Customers can order their requirements over the phone and payment can be made during delivery. As an inaugural offer, the store is offering a FLAT 10% Discount on Diapers and Baby Wipes, Baby Cosmetics such as Powders, Lotions & Creams. Minimum order value for Home Delivery is Rs. 750.

The store is home to an array of Indian and International brands -  names like Medela, Pigeon, Nuby, Chicco, Avent, JL Morrisons, Apple Baby, Fisher Price, Barbie, Disney, Hotwheels, Funskool, Himalaya, Johnson & Johnson, Pampers, Mamy Poko being a few of them. There are over 2,000 products to choose from among 50 plus brands. The store recently launched a new range of Wooden and Metal Cradles for new born babies, Prams and Strollers and Baby Chairs. The Store would soon launch their Summer-2015 collection of garments for babies and kids.

The store is one of its kind in the country - spread over 1600 Sq Feet and has a well laid out play area and an activity center - where the young ones can spend time exploring the world of toys and also engage in creative activities such as coloring, drawing, painting, etc. The creation of kids at the store will be displayed on the walls of Smiling Baby, which also has an exclusive Nursing Room for mothers and ample car parking, Lift Facility and other amenities.

Speaking on the launch of the Home Delivery service, S Shriram, Founder of Smiling Baby added: “We are five months young in the business and have received tremendous love and appreciation from our customers. Many of them have been asking about Home Delivery service and we have taken their feedback seriously. We believe our same day delivery would be patronized well by our customers. Initially we plan to cover a 10 sq. km area from our shop at Adyar and based on feedback and response, we will start delivery across the city of Chennai shortly.”
